While transaction activity in India is growing rapidly, acquirers and sellers require a variety of pre- and post-transaction services including due diligence (financial, legal, tax), valuation and business modelling, acquisition accounting as well as internal audits/controls audits and transition planning. Certain regulatory requirements are of a continuing nature even after the transaction is completed.
